Cordoda in deal with Triumphal Associates

KUALA LUMPUR: Cordoda Corporation Sdn Bhd, which describes itself as a “class network service provider,” said that Triumphal Associates Bhd has selected it to centralise its operations line.
One of the biggest challenges faced by Triumphal was to enable the connectivity of its seven operations in both East and West Malaysia, Cordoda said in a statement.
Triumphal’s real-time accounting and inventory system demanded a stable, reliable and robust platform that minimised downtime.
With the Internet’s penetration and ability to reach out to wider markets, Triumphal required the expertise and experience of a proven network service provider to assist its migration onto the e-business platform.
“Cordoda offered us the option of streamlining our info-communications and infrastructure, through its Enterprise Broadband Network (EBN) solution,” said Toh Chee Yong, operation manager of Triumphal Associates.
“This has enabled us to track all business functions, especially in the area of accounting, and reduce the cost of telecommunications and downtime,” he added.
Listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Triumphal Association is a distributor of spare parts and related components for heavy equipment. The company provides servicing, maintenance and reconditioning support across the nation.
Incorporated in 1999, Cordoda is a new class network service provider and e-business enabling solutions provider. Its shareholders include Patimas Computers Berhad, Merrill Lynch Global Emerging Markets Partners, L.P. and Capital Properties Berhad.
Having obtained its Application Service Licence under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, Cordoda went further to receive MSC-status by the Multimedia Development Corporation in February 2001.
It claims its EBN is the first complete e-business network service, which provides a total end to end solution for its customers.
